Wall and ceiling lamp Pipe parete/soffitto by Artemide (Herzog & de Meuron, 2007). Pipe parete/soffitto, designed by Herzog de Meuron for Artemide, is a ceiling and wall light. The light source can be oriented in any direction. Pipe parete/soffitto has a structure of extremely flexible steel tubes, covered by natural platinic silicone sheath (protected from yellowing) and opens in a cone-shaped diffuser. The excellent, flexible adjustability of the light source turns Pipe parete/soffitto into a unique lighting. It fits perfectly with the floor and suspension lamps from Pipe family by Artemide.
Flexible painted steel structure, covered with a natural antiyellowing silicone case; wall attachment and diffuser in transparent rubber-effect painted polycarbonate; mirror aluminium reflector with random perforations; painted steel bottom plate.

Designermöbel & Leuchten von Herzog & de Meuron
Jacques Herzog & Pierre de Meuron, geboren am 19. April bzw. 8. Mai 1950 in Basel, Schweiz, studieren an der Eidgenössischen Technischen Hochschule ETH Zürich Architektur. 1978 gründen sie das Architekturbüro Herzog & de Meuron in Basel (weitere Partner: 1991 Harry Gugger, 1994 Christine Binswanger, 2004 Robert Hösl, 2004 Ascan Mergenthaler und 2006 Stefan Marbach). Jacques Herzog hält 1983 eine Gastprofessur an der Cornell University, Ithaca, N.Y. 1994 wird er als Professor an die Harvard University in Cambridge berufen. Pierre de Meuron hat im Jahr 1989 eine Gastprofessur an der Harvard University inne und wird dort 1994 ebenfalls zum Professor berufen. Im Jahr 1999 erfolgt an beide Architekten der Ruf an die ETH Zürich. Hier gründen sie gemeinsam mit Roger Diener und Marcel Meili das ETH Studio Basel/Institut Stadt der Gegenwart.Projekte:
